my how time flies

This day flew by.
I woke up and went over to my friends dorm, and we cylced over to this girls apartment. From there we went to town to the farmer/artisan market. I bought some strawberries and "discovery" apples, they are kind of pink in color. My friend brought his saxaphone along and played for an hour to make money. it was sweet. Afterwards, we went to "Tour de Fat" which was a one day festival at Caras Park on the river. It was a festival promoting alternate sources of energy...and beer. So the stage was solar powered and we cut a rug to this bluegrass band from Colorado. They also promoted biking in place of using automobiles and such...amongst other things a pretty good cause. All of the drunk people even got to clean up after themselves. It was neat. They went through 34 kegs of beer during the day and two of the empty ones they set out in front of the stage. People tried their luck at walking on top of the kegs and rolling across the lawn on top of them. It was rather entertaining. We were going to rent bikes and go to the canyon but the bike rental guy never showed up. SO either tomorrow or Monday, I keep remembering there is no school on Monday.
